FLEURS/FLOWERS
Having grown up in a family of professional gardeners and florists, I have developed knowledge of floral techniques while working in my youth in the family-run company. Since then, I have continuously worked with flowers in relation to art projects, e.g. Deferred Landscapes (2008-ongoing), Third-Ikebana (2009-ongoing), Coco and Pablo Have Left the Building (2013), Reacclimatizations (2018 – ongoing), Pray you, love, remember (2025). More specifically, I have been developing, as an advanced non-professional, an ikebana practice for more than fifteen years, after initiating studies in Tokyo in 2008. I am currently facilitating seasonal ikebana workshops (Seika-Shōka style) for beginners in Työhuone Helsinki.
