Backdrop (1977) is a “narriterative” of the project Backdrop (Venice). It was realized from a documentation of the referent project for the context of a research day in a contemporary art museum, simultaneously and ambiguously as autonomous artwork and supplementary object of research, aiming at introducing methodological strategies implemented in artistic research, beyond the linear and dialectical logic project/documentation.
